D2R Melee Arena

This GM Melee Ladder is focused on Paladins, Barbarians and Amazons.
All we ask is for people to have fun and enjoy themselves during the duels. Awards will be awarded to the Top 3 and Top Conc Barb.


General Ladder Rules

➜ Characters allowed to play this ladder: Zeal pally, Conc barb and Jab zon.
➜ A challenge will be best 2/3 sets, first to 6 must win each set by 2 duels.
➜ You may change gear twice during a set and once between each set. You must announce this to your opponent by saying "swap 1 or swap 2" during a set. When someone announces a swap, the other party can only swap after a single duel takes place.
➜ Using a token during a challenge is not permitted. If found using a token, it results in an immediate challenge loss and a warning will be issued. If this occurs after a warning you may be removed and banned from future events.
➜ Duels will take place in the Inner Cloister.
➜ All challenges must be in Normal Difficulty.


Challenge system - PLEASE READ - IMPORTANT

➜ You are allowed to challenge 1-2 ranks above you until you get to #3. At #3, you can only challenge #2, and #2 can only challenge #1. *NOTE* You cannot challenge someone already in a challenge.
➜ To issue a challenge you must PM your opponent, then post in thread. Discord is also accepted as a PM.
➜ If you issue a challenge and win, you must wait 12 hours to issue another challenge.
➜ If you issue a challenge and lose you must wait 24 hours to issue another challenge, or 48 hours to rechallenge the same person.
➜ If you are challenged and win, you can issue a challenge immediately.
➜ If you are challenged and lose, you must wait 24 hours to issue a challenge.
➜ 4-Day Dodge rule NO EXCEPTIONS (AFK, No-reply, No-show = Auto-loss) 2 consecutive Dodges**= Removed from ladder. This means, if you challenge someone on 2022-08-17 @ 9:00 P.M, the challenge ends on 2022-08-21 @ 9:00 P.M
➜ If you cannot complete your challenge on time, you can request a 24 Hour day extension. It is your responsibility to PM your challenger to inform them and then post in thread asking for an extension. If you fail to do this, the dodge rule will be enforced.
➜ If neither of you post why it wasn't completed, its a dodge for the challenged individual. NO EXCEPTIONS.
➜ GM melee rules apply to all duels. If you have any questions about the rules, post. Any rules not covered in this post are subject to referee/admins discretion and will be considered final.
➜ Every season will conclude a week before ladder ends.

If there exists a group of people wanting a melee ladder without Fury, so be it. How does it affect you? Let people do what they want.
