I agree it's kind of crappy...but it's been the rules for a long time...the dodge rule is meant for those that really have time limitations, what we have here are people abusing it.

I guess we can take a vote to change the rule...but I know I for one, don't live on jsp, so it's hard for me to agree with changing it...

OK if u were busy ok.. but if ur delaying it for better gear then that should be a lose since if i dueled him WITHOUT THE DELAY i would of won and game to me.
i think the 3 day dodge rule is fine. but only with a good reason. not an ACTUAL DODGE for gear..

Mike I say with our digression, people who are abusing dodge rule get an automatic dodge. Because its becoming fairly annoying!!

their seems to be something lacking from this season of melee ladder. In the past everyone was eager to duel and have fun even if they would lose they would just remake and re-challenge. Challenges were usually done in one day max, because to be honest it only takes 10 min. This whole im using temp gear, waiting till the last min to complete a challenge, is kind of bs. We have lost some very good players to this and to be honest im having a hard time recommending this ladder to guild members. Nobody is making anyone play one this ladder, if you more content just to come into the duel game and mess around then just do that and pls stop wasting peoples time.

this x 1000. im always keep for a duel. i even spa'ed with memnon. i got raped like 5/9 times. but all just fun tests/prac.
the ladder rankings are going to be here for a while.
no point dodging 3 days to save 2 spots. that u can easily make up.
i rekon WIHTOUT A REAL REASON LIKE WORK OR SOMETHING. the dodge rule becomes 24hours!

This is an example of someone NOT abusing the dodge rule. People you can't just pm the person one time to challenge and then never do it again. Mauricio told me that he has never received a pm after he posted his schedule. I am really disappointed in the way this is turning out.




Who said this? This is an example of someone ABUSING the dodge rule. Makes me sick. I challenged Jeff twice, and the second challenge I didn't have the armor I wanted to test against him, and was spec'd for something silly, and guess what, I got my ass kicked 6-0 and 6-2...WHO CARES. The whole point of this Melee ladder is to have fun and to duel, it seems like everyone is pro at making excuses because they are afraid to lose.



I agree, we need to kick start this ladder, because frankly it's embarrassing the way things are now.








I would like some more clarification on this...what does that mean being remade? It has to be the same char, and waiting to get gear is no excuse, if you are around and are challenged, you need to accept it. If by being remade you have a different barb that's being leveled, that is not allowed. I have a 98 pally that I would like to switch to, but that's not possible, my only other option would be to lvl my pally that is in the ladder already.





I agree 100%...something is going to have to change.
