Yup, if you need to be put on hold for legitimate reasons like going for a one month holiday to Iraq or Afghanistan, we can put u on hold no worries too.

A month is pushing it if youre going to be gone that long you shoudl drop from ladder 7 days is fair

Yeah that's always true. Although I know if I ever have a pressing issue I just don't go on jsp. But I guess if they just wanted to be nice with the person that challenged them and forfeit rather than holding them up then sure I can see the reason to do that. But in most cases there isn't a serious issue. People have been put on hold before on the nl ladders as well but I doubt most people know that it's an option.

Yup, note the countries i wrote for the one month example, it's more of being dispatched there for the army etc rather than a holiday.

Length is hard to set a limit though, and we will definitely look at all the requests on a case-by-case basis.

Yeah if they have a serious reason like that and ask to be put on hold rather than requesting being removed I wouldn't be able to say no. Although if it was for a military leave they would be gone for the minimum of 6 months so in that case I would suggest they just get removed lol.

I've been doing this since long time cuz I hate people dodging -_- plus it clogs up ladder soo much it's pissed me off soo im forced putting dodges on thier names soo they know they dodge.

Yeah the number thing was a good idea. A lot less dodges now.

Reset has been officially announced for march 23
I suggest we start discussing how the ladders will be merged.
I dont think its really fair to make somebody in the top tier of the Ladder melee ladder to start at the very bottom of the NL Ladder

Im thinking maybe a Giant duel off for ranks
this would make it a true merger

#1 vs #1 for 1 and 2 ranks
#2 vs #2 for 3 and 4 ranks
#3 vs #3 for 5 and 6 etc

OFC we will have to see how many people from the ladder thread are going to actually want to be on the NL .
Im sure many will be too busy trying their luck with new chars on ladder

anyway just something to start a discussion
