Hello
@unexpec;kalmehra: Hmm, I think this went a little too far for a point of view on a BvB league topic.
Both of you reacted as a boiled blood type

At least try to use that energy in bvb duel, not in "strange" words, which will be seen.
Why not try to discuss about the matter, in a game or via pm?
If you need mediation, I can assist lol, I will bring axes with me, and you can fight as much as you want, but perhaps you can solve this is an another way.
@all of you:Now, about that eventual new rule, I think it could be a good idea, but the concept must be deeper analysed and more structured. First the distance should be names, for get a representation of it. I agree with a certain distance, because I admit myself, that my barbarian, is also a bloody type, and he is also very fast, even when that Giant Bisounours walk, which leads to that: I say "g" as usual, and the another say "go" or "g", and it is right to say that I am awaiting for that, so I can unleash my chains and rush on my opponent like a mad thing thirsty of blood (Duno if I wrote it correctly). The speed, and if the other one got a pike of ping, right at that moment, gives me a damned advantage. I will generate something like I am on the opponent and already shortly wwing him, and eventually damaged him. It is hard to get a first strike for the first seconds of the match, and after the mind will work on it, and it is even worse if you add an open wounds effect which is often the case in ffa duels.
So yes, it would be a good things to think about this matter, it can give a far too high advantage to the opponent for the continuum of the duel. Do not forget that the opponent can feel a sort of "pressure" during the whole duel after that, or after each new beginning of the part.
I suggest this:
1: To pay attention to the distance not too far, not too near, it must be accepted by a lot of us, a vote would be interessant.
2: The ping, I know as an old player, I started d2 with a 56k modem, the ping really can modulates our own behaviour, do not just think: "Oh ping again, such an excuse." I know it happened

It can be one excuse yes, but it can also be a sort of truth. I suggest each player to check their ping in the game before the match. And if they really do not feel like doing the duel well then let's leave it for another day.
But this situation perhaps should be controlled, how I still have no idea about this. It is more about trusting each other. Hmm and yes, as a main tournament structure, it is not possible to allow anyone whenever he wants to leave the duel due to that too often. So this second point is a hard one to deal with. We have no material clue, and every one's connexion is different

Haaa and yes, even with the distance, the "go" from each other, still matters, why? Well, simple that the first one which say go, depending of his barbarian speed and state of connexion, gets an advantage no matter what.
So as :
3: I suggest that the referee is the "go". And he only says it after the decent distance was made, like in a boxing match, or football or whatever sport, with a referee.
Forgive me for that intervention again, I wrote on the beginning that the "words" will be seen by every one, well I am in the same case like this.
"So a special, forgive me to Kalhmera and Unexpected., I hope you can solve this matter, which seems a bit too "rushy" from my point of view

)
I wish you all a nice day, and and last, I still have some guys to duel, check the list in blue previous page.
See you:SeaB
