that is exactly what you said
and the only place i would see es sorcs potting in svs being a problem would be in es vs vita... so since that is allowed, why not just allow mana potting all together?
personally i think most of the rules should be reworked, but thats just me
but the one i pointed out is just backwards lol

what does that mean?
you go on to say: allowing mana pots would help the high es more in that case, though not by much really.
that makes the rule useless AND it still points your statement in the direction of meaning that es sorcs can mana pot vs vita and es
there is no part where you show that es cannot mana pot vs es
it reads like you explaining why its not a problem for es sorcs can use them

basically, you should amend the rule due to uselessness
misunderstanding or not

Ask Corwin about that rule, I am ambivalent to it.

An argument for the disallowing of it would be convenience.. since potting es vs es is not allowed, we don't have to worry about whether the opponent is using them, making sure to use one before a stomp, etc etc.
