Realizing CML rules allows tap and death.
Tap is lame IMO for a couple reasons. It definitely forces mirror matchup, so you have to run exile vs exile otherwise you lose. Tap also adds more randomness to an already RNG-heavy event. I haven’t played NL in a while, I was under impression that exile is allowed if both people agree. However the rules state “no one can be forced to tap or not” indicating people can use whatever they want. But that just means if your opponent insists on using it, you also have to run it otherwise you are at a severe disadvantage.
Exile is also the same as prudence in my eyes - glitched armor. Ebugging results in huge def from the cube glitch. I don’t get how that’s GM lol.
Oh and y’all thought Phoenix was bad? Then you’re about to really hate my death setup rofl... think ebotd dmg with huge DS and CB.
Maybe it’s just me and my inability to be satisfied but I do find these rules kinda strange. Why force a setup on your opponent instead of just being optional or something to agree to? And why is death legal when it makes Phoenix look soft??
Anywaya, pre coffee rant over, I’ll be around a bit today if anyone wants to get some slaps in
Death is 1000% banned in CML
And yes tap is a choice. I honestly prefer tap I think it makes the duels way more fun. Some duels where you both get tap on each other can be wild and swingy instead of just oh one of us is going to die soon. It’s fun to see life going two directions instead of just down down down lol.
While I wouldn’t compare tap vs tap to prudence vs prudence, at least it is a level playing field. But yea gear variety is 100% dead if you do a tap duel shaft is the clear choice. Suppose you could do a leviathan dungos coa combo as well, but I’ve never seen that on NL.
