IMO, whoever initiated the duel should wait 1 day to challenge for a higher spot. So if I challenged someone with a higher rank than me and won or lost. I have to wait for a day or so to challenge again for a higher spot. This prevents rapid movement in ladder from people that are constantly on compare with those that aren't just to see what is open. This forces them to defend their spot for at least one day to prove they really deserve it.

EDIT: I nullify my match with Devilish. I didn't pm him so the match isn't actually been sealed. I've got to work a lot this week, but will take challenges as suppose to challenging for a higher position.

thats just more work for the mods, if yu wanna get into that,

but i say hold off on this thought.

*this relates to the previous discussion, but essentially instead of the initiator, it would be the loser that would be vulnerable to being challenged, as they just lost at an advancement attempt or lost their spot on the ladder, and with the winner getting to challenge up on the ladder first, the loser then has to wait, which keeps the same pace as your idea
