Good point.

But if the winner is unable to challenge at that time (pending duels), he should get first crack at the spots above him until he gets challenged by another opponent.

if theres no spots available at the time then it should become free for all when a spot eventually does open. because you have no idea when that pending duel is gonna take place.

ic yur tryin to keep it simple as possible. but we're kinda brainstorming to see the possibilities for now

What if the results are posted 1-5 mins afterwards though? :blink:

Yea and then the rules might get changed over waiting periods, and your saying the others that put up with it before would have basically been screwed over.

well the ladder cant be perfect from go, but might as well improve it as we go. the ladder is still young, if we plan on it lasting longer might as well make it solid and find the faults as we go along

Ok, b4 we all get twisted up we'll make this a new rule, once a duel that taken place it is the Winner's responsiblity to post scores of the match. In that post the Winner then has the option to post thier next challenge in that same post. If the Winner fails to do so in that post then the runner up then is allowed to post thier challenge. If you notice thats what I've been doing after a victory. But to be fair we'll have to start this new rule as of now. So what has been posted shall remain active. It really is the only way to be fair about introducing a new rule into a Ladder that has been active. We will post this new rule on our Updates from now on. I hope everyone can accept this and continue to enjoy the Ladder.
