Damn I thought you knew. Zon is insanely hard to beat without max block for many classes.

Changes between lod and d2r:
1. strafe is uninterruptable + all projectiles properly hit reg now, so it's 11 arrows in 0.1 seconds that fhr/block lock you and all do proper dmg + knockback. In LOD if you hit a zon while they were strafing, the rest of their shots usually did nothing and you could hop on them and body block + dodge lock + and apply heavy pressure or kill
2. zons can't be dodge locked at all now, they can plant their feet and DPS race. They'll usually win, due to dodge. Ex, Audacity 2.8k HP, but also dodges over 65% of spells and can block lock me while he is uninterruptable by my spells.
3. Can't body block them on top of that - used to be able to tele in front of them, body block them and dodge lock them to keep them stationary for a few seconds. Now can't body block them at all, they can run in circles indefinitely and you can't catch them. No body blocking actually applies to all classes, you can run straight up and being teled on doesn't stop you like it did in lod.
4. Ofc they can break ias bp's if they use a matri bow. I don't think they can with GMB, at least.

Even without wsg they are definitely a much larger threat than in lod. I remember zons being mostly a meme back in the day, but with the changes they are extremely difficult to lockdown. Considering making a javazon for pvp due to the changes.. might actually be insanely good vs anything but trappers

I think strafe was buffed in 1.14D and functions the way you describe in 1. on legacy too right now

Try out firewall. Still a really hard fight since no block, but firewall might be the answer you're looking for

It was good in LOD vs zons due to how it interacted with dodge, and was buffed in D2R. I haven't tested it myself, but if it interacts w/ dodge the same way as in LOD, you'll be able to fuck them up pretty handedly.
