Looking at that thread it seems a pretty minor offence to me, his only mistake was not contacting a mod in advance about the change (according to the rules). As a barb should already have quite a few points in shout if properly levelled it constitutes a minor change imo. Also seeing as it seems his opponent knew about the change (at least before the last round) and that mods haven't really been contacted about things like extensions, it shouldn't warrant a ban from the ladder or something like that.

Simple fix is to ban respec'ing and force a re-duel between him and the ghost with a build that he has to declare and use from now on. Also get people to be more specific on their sign-ups - i.e. noting things like 1 point kick or how much dex statted for a block setup.

Yea except I'm gonna assume if you respec for higher shout that you are gonna pump iron skin as well.
It shouldn't be a re-duel, and it shouldn't be a ban. Just start back at the bottom with the new build since that is the rule.
