Lol no worries. Best is to just record duels and have 3 people judge it tbh. He’s a good dueler but goes overly defensive to win fg. Which is understandable but boarderline bm.

well unfortunately fhr system is trash on d2r which means coming back when you behind even if you hit someone first is hard

I'm guessing that's why people play extremely defensively while on low life more than usual


for example in nvn, if you are 2-3 spears behind you can still come back with a good play etc to win the duel (on normal d2)

maybe this isn't as easy on d2r

This is exactly the case with svs. Before in old d2 u could be way behind on life and still play aggressively because if you’re quick and get that good timing stomp with prefire or sometimes even without u could fhr someone and win the duel.

Now there’s a bit less skill gap with the lack of fhr so hitting your spam is way too important in svs, which is why svs just isn’t good in d2r imo.

Also not dueling chad has nothing to do with him getting low life causing him to be overly defense (although I’m sure this would be the case as well if he did happen to get weak in the beginning). Chad will be very defensive until he has the extreme advantage from getting spam hits on his opponent (even if it takes an hour of spamming), then you might see a rare occasion where he stomps someone. It’s unfortunately the best, easiest, and least skilled method to winning in svs. Especially when a player with the tiniest bit of skill abuses that method.

D2r complete trash though, nerds already tended to be overly defensive with upspam and trains when fhr actually worked right I can imagine how much worse it is on d2r
