But non the less, i quit d2r in December and havnt been back on since related to all the same reasons listed / problems from the launch of d2r. I still think it has potential (honestly even the new pvm end game zone thing sounds cool for pvpers to make the exp grind not so bad + new ladder mfing etc) but as is the game mechanically is completely unappealing to the old player based that have stuck around for so long.

Ive been playing on d2ga weekly ish lately, mostly weekends and its just dumb how vastly superior the game feels to play, move, and interact with. Granted thats probably my 18+ years of old man muscle memory lol


If they ever did start taking feedback like this seriously i would definitely be interested to try again. Even all the other whacky changes arent bad to give some interesting mix ups and theorycrafting - but nothing compares to how the original d2 pvp plays like a frame based fighting game. Without that, the new age wont ever get to experience and learn this game in the same fashion we fell in love with
