Like the original pokemon game gameboy game you can choose any of your 6 pokemon, so in d2 you can choose up to 3 characters to pvp with and best of 3 (however, if you only have 1 character you battle that for all 3 rounds)

swapping inventory not allow (sorb item is allow if you wear to begin with)

so like you have scenario battle #1 (First player choose their any character without telling ahead of the time)

Player 1: Hammerdin (Heavy Lite Sorb Gears) vs Player 2: Trapper, so let say Hammerdin won

Battle #2

Player 1 must continue using Hammerdin and by then Player 2 know ok Hammerdin is heavy lite sorb, so he bring in ES FB sorc and let say ES FB Sorc won

Battle #3

Player 1 bring in Trapper while Player 2 has to use his FB Sorc
