even though this game use to be nothing but dueling back in .09, the new generation of players mf and go try a random pub and log off. back in 09 there were no ladders, so this game having ladders is all about mfing. they want to make a mf easy char, get gear and make their ideal fun build after finding good items and have fun mf'ing on it.
Why do you think youtube channels of single player with special builds are big? because most players are more into seeing that, that's not end game true fpk which wsg takes.
yeah i guess so its very casual. community tho is build up through the nerds. they destroyed modding, thats a good bunch of nerds now they destroyed pvp aswell, those are more than 2%, actually its exactly those people who kept the game alive for so long. when they start fixing actual bugs like grushing, or newer bugs like anya portal or such which tackles pvm community their game is finally dead. everyone voting against mods / pvp is voting against d2. welcome to d3.
