Reminds me of the term “John” used interchangeably for an excuse in the smash community. No one knows where it came from but everyone uses the word

Marvel for obvious reasons, vav and donny for being synonymous (at different times) with d2pk, l8z and TMC are still terms used today (I've also never played with either of them and know exactly who they are)
