there really is only a few things are up for debate, other than that most of the standard rule sets are dead on

charges use,
eth items use,
es sorc using mana pots, if so what %, etc
slow missile? decrip? lower resist (in teams)
in 1v1 tourneys a bunch of classes are typically banned as well
including foh, auradin, psn druid, psn nec, plague zon (some say es orb but another thing up for debate)
like a year ago TJ made a thread that actually got some traction but i dont think anything was ever decided on
plus i think euros follow some different rules, i cant speak for them, im referencing what i know from east, also im sure im forgetting things because of my over zealous usage of marijuana plants

So what I'm seeing is kind of the norm. The core things that most rule sets agree on its a good general set of rules for GM. I am because I'm trying to explain this to others but didn't want to lead them astray. I will stick to rules that are agreed upon by multiple sources.
