This would be my main concern too... The average age of people who play d2 seems to be 25+ and they generally have lots of other things in their lives! We are having enough trouble getting people to duel 1 vs 1 on the Melee Ladder...

you're so right, thats the number 1 problem i see here.But remember we are on summer and my idea is to make an elimination tour, so it should be finished in 1-2 months.And we could make rules for making that easier, like partner change if he quits or something like that.

2. i agree with prudence getting banned
3. also agree with death getting unbanned
4. don´t agree with edc getting banned couse not all of us own viable rare weps atm unless death gets unbanned on the other side

Hmm, i've been thinking about it all day, and i think 1 nice solution will be the next:


-8 teams of 2 guys, 1 captain on each team, wich is permanent(so here comes the more active guys).Second slot goes to free agent, wich is a partner(there goes the people who have less time to spend) who can be chosen on the list of players, each 2 duels free agents can be changed and are avaidable for hiring.So, the 8 teams duels each others, and the 4 with better stadistics goes to a playoff semis.And ofc the winner comes from that elimination.So that would be 7 fights, and if u have luck 2 more.Everybody takes part in it, the more active guys and the ones who have a real life.What you think about it?
