allowing hacked runewords in a GM ladder?

how is this any different than fletchs or all those lewt diadems

hacked runewords give mods that are unspawnable, and sometimes unfair. even though a runeword like spirit of phoenix would still have to adhere to the stacking rules, it makes it so much easier for a sorc to increase max resistance without having to use other items.
anyway thats my rant, gnight
