your "Gm Ladders" mean very little... l8zing nec > almost everything if you don't know how to counter it

good duelers who don't bother with those ladders have beaten you and can beat you at will (oforia, myself, others)

seriously every single person i've talked to that has dueled the kid has mentioned how remarkably defensive he is

when ladder rolls i'll dvn him (one of the only matches where being defensive doesn't benefit the nec)

defensive as fuck, running around spamming teeth/upspearing until you catch a lock

I've beaten him with Barb, Nec, and Smiter

Just not at times when it counts and he's off my map for 20 mins LOL

The Gm Ladders that exist now are the only Ladders that exist to my knowledge. I imagine when you played before there were more competitive ladders but the "better players" that I know of don't join the ladder because they don't want to or just inactive. Those "good duelers" have beat me before.... But I also have beat them before in ft5's. How do you get better at dueling? If you say you "beat" me in a NvN why don't you just post the screenshot. Because If you really did I don't remember sorry I don't keep track of everyone person I duel that's why I take screenshots.
