What does multiple spot mean?

I am currently planning to enter 3x barbs. (Exec/Naga/BH)

The brackets for this tournament will be like a typical sports playoff elimination bracket.

I will try to keep secondary characters from matching up with the same player in a bracket, but it is possible that my Naga barb will end up matched against my BH barb. In that case, I will just have the player hand pick the winner of that matchup and continue on.

This is how I am intending for it to work, if anyone forsees any potential issues with this, let me know asap thanks.

Cool to see a classic PVP tourney. I've got PVP characters on expansion but there are never any pub games on classic so I didn't really think it was much of a thing. I'd like to eventually get together some classic duelers to come play but this first one will be a little too soon. GL HF!

There are a few bleeder bvbs that hang around pub games, but very few true "traditional defense" built barbs in today's game.

This traditional build is more of a remenant of the 1.06 - 1.09 era of D2 classic.

i think rules are fine what ever you decided thats fine its your tournament i just wanted to mention a possible suggestion for your next tournament or in general i dont even know if 25 replenish is capped in this tournament im just speaking in general about that rule reguardless of if its in this tournament or not thx

25 life replenish cap is a terrible rule i am not a fan of this rule and i dont even use replenish

+str and +life/vita are huge on a barb it would take ALOT for +replenish to overcome str/life based on this i really dont see
the problem

but the biggest problem and issue is 25 is just to low of a number when all barbs use angelics and start with 12 replenish
this only allows +13 replenish on gear...... which means if someones normal - non replenish build gear happens to have replenish... they are not aloud which is just wild

starting with angelics 12 replenish 1; 9 replenish on ur belt would put you at 21 replenish this would mean any replenish roll
in any other slot = banned

pavise got replenish? banned....
gloves got replenish? banned....
weapon got replenish? banned....

is having 14 more replenish then the person ur fighting really " bad mannered dueling " and bannable?..............

ofc i say no rules but maybe just a suggestion since you want to imply rules maybe it is better if you have a 25replenish cap applied AFTER angelics, which would basically be blocking 3pskull socket helms and other replenish builds that can actually be
considered bm and not just hit people who randomly happen to have replenish on their gear....

just a rule suggestion for maybe you to consider your next tournament or in general thanks good luck...

We just copied the existing codex feom legacy for now, to have a base and we left it open for the tour to decide upon final rules.

I think we can generally remove that replenish restriction, because if some1 thinks replenish is too much of an advantage, then we could also start talking about DR and ATD.

So I agree with you, we generally should keep it open and not restrict it

Yep, we didn't talk about it other than copy/pasting an old rule set. I think taking it off the codex is probably a good idea.
