so I actually got alot better at dueling just by learning the match ups and getting use to d2r mechanics (hadnt played since lod)


What i have came to realize is

max dr is good

i do have max block swap gear as well 2/20/40 etc- I can get 69% mb on eld ss but What I like more is upd winstons guard vs bow- with the upd winstons i can uptain the max block easily with all vita build


tldr-you need to have max block, max dr, sorb swaps in inventory

Swaps are nice to have, but eventually you will grow out of it all by having many dueling experience playing (i still don't though). Around 30%-ish mb with max DR + constant pets alive is the all the gearing you need. Vs zons, it's how fast you can get in their screen, pressure them with spears/spirits then getting out/resetting. If the zon constantly spams strafe on your approach, use bone prison so that the strafe will target those instead. Don't get into the zon's screen for too long is what i constantly tell myself but i am not personally a good necro, especially in that matchup. What i try is to try and land 1-2 spears when we are in the same screen before resetting because in that short time frame, the zon wouldve destroyed your pets and bone armor already by the time you cast your 2nd or 3rd spear lock.
