**Presenting… the Captain’s Tournament!**

This tournament is exactly as the name suggests. However, I’ve added a twist.

I (CeeJay), will pick the Captains from the list of registrants, based on previous tournament rankings and scores collected via D2A’s tracking. Each Captain will be assigned a number. I reserve the right to also pick captains of my own choosing (unlikely).

The remaining people participating will be randomized into teams, and the captains will be added to their respective Team number.

Team Size / Number of Teams and captains depends on number of registrants, same regarding double/single elimination/round robin.

Each team will be required to have 1 dueler screen sharing their POV for every match in the D2A discord. Come finals, EVERY player must stream. Please understand this event is for viewer entertainment too.

Overly Defensive play, toxicity, etc = warn / insta DQ. Event moderators reserve the right to make these decisions at their discretion.

If the captains don’t pick their teams, because you randomized the teams, and then assign the “captains” to their respective team number, how are they captains? This is just random teams again.

I think it’s just to split up the top duelers so u don’t end up with one team that has the best 3 on the same team.

goal is to seperate the top players to reduce chance of teams being stacked but ya the captains will most likely be the in-game leaders

Yeah I moreso wanted balanced teams and to not hurt feelings of people picked last and make them discouraged to enter. But I’m open to letting capts pick if the players don’t mind

My thoughts exactly. I also want to explain this so we can create more organized duels, where people get accustomed to listening to their IGL etc. I think it will elevate everyone’s gameplay
