Entrance

Zeal Pk on West Non-Ladder is back! This tournament is open to anybody from any realm. Do you think your zealer has what it takes to hang with the top zealers on West? Well you're more then welcome to join and show us what you got! We welcome and encourage as many particpants as we can get! On West Non-Ladder we are gonna take Zeal Pks to a WHOLE DIFFERENT LEVEL. This is going to be a different tournament then the last one we just had. Which was pretty sick folks!

There is no level cap in this tournament. Future tournaments may have minor changes depending on what the demand is for the next tournament. We are keeping our minds open to new challenges as in level caps, all rare/crafted, lifetap (like the last tournament), and whatever else is suggested or recommended. If you know what you’re doing, are a serious competitor, like to have fun, meet cool people, or even want to try zeal pk out for the first time, then this is the place you need to be in. Sign up!! This is going to be very competitive with very little to no mercy for disadvantages. Don't think about joining, JUST DO IT!!!!!

If you'd like to get some practice in for your Zealer I have good news. Most of the members in Warriors guild have active Zealers on non ladder or ladder, you can msg them or the other members that are active in this tournament, game name is Zealpk. Msg Toyota, Devilish, or any of the regular west zealers for the password to this game! ^_^

We cannot charge an entrance fee, and it is "illegal" to host events. However, this tournament is handled by donations so those involved have a bit of incentive to place and get their duels done on time, ANY DUELERS WHO DO NOT COMPLETE THEIR DUEL ONTIME WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. Too many people sign up for an event and then back out or just do not bother to show up.

To participate in this tournament, there's a 300fg donation entry fee paid and sent to Mediator Snuffelupecus http://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?i=325664 . I will be contributing equally to this cause. Should for any reason the tournament not occur or conclude then you will be refunded your donations promptly. We welcome and encourage extra donations to sweeten the pot for the top 3. This is the payout format:

1st place – 60% Total donations
2nd place – 25% Total donations
3rd place – 15% Total donations

Tournament

All matches will be conducted in Hell difficulty. In either The Blood Moor or The Inner Cloister, whichever is preferred or agreed upon by both participants. If you cannot come to an agreement you will do one set (ft7) in each area, and if there's a need for a third set the ref for your match will pick a number 1-10 with the participant closest to that number getting to choose the area for the remaining set.

This tournament will be a double elimination bracket with a seperate winner's and loser's bracket.: You must lose two separate matches to be eliminated from the tournament, unless you willingly excuse yourself by failing to participate. Pretty simple people, if you lose twice you're done. If for some reason you find yourself unable to participate in the tournament before it has started and you have already signed up and paid the donation it will be refunded.

The winner of each match will be determined by a best 2 out of 3 sets. Each set will consist of a FT7 duel. Example: The first duel is 7-5 for dueler 1, so the first set goes to dueler 1. You needs 2 sets to win. The second set is won by the second dueller 7-0, and they are tied at 1 set a piece. A set won 7-0 is worth as much as a set won 7-5. The match between the two is then decided by who wins the next set of FT7 duels. The outcome will be posted in the thread with verification of both duelers and a ref. This tournament will be done in bracket format. The brackets will be posted and updated regularly as soon as the starting matches are determined. The starting matches will be picked randomly by literally pulling names out of a hat.

Rules

▪ Battle Orders coming from CTA and zod bugged forts are allowed
▪ Prebuff is not allowed : You may not go to stash, cast holy shield, and then duel. Secondary weapon and shield are the only things you're allowed to use to cast holy shield and battle orders.
▪ 100 poison damage is the max you can have from items or charms. The poison nova from Andy's and ebotdz are allowed.
▪ No necromancer curses that effect the duels, ie* Lifetap, Amp, Weaken, or Decrepify. Iron maiden from steel carapace is allowed since it does not effect players in pvp.
▪ No enchant, this includes the % chance to cast enchant from lavagouts
▪ No % slow target
▪ Elemental damage must be below a total of 300, this includes any damage from holy shock or holy fire.
▪ Holy freeze is not allowed.
• No leaving the game for any reason once the duels have started. This can result in a DQ. If the game lags you must wait until the lags stops before you continue your match.
• If there is an obvious miss click in the match that effects the outcome of the duel that duel will be nullified. If the ref suspects and/or determines a participant is purposely misclicking in order to have the duel nulled that participant will lose the duel, match, or even be disqualified from the tournament based on frequency and serverity of the violation.
• There is NO RUNNING AWAY or avoiding the duel. You MUST engage your opponent at all times.
• NO DANCING AROUND TRYING TO GAIN AN ANGLE ADVANTAGE BEFORE YOU ENGAGE. You may shift positions/angles after the initial engagement, but you cannot do so before the actual duel starts. Repeated breaking of this particular rule could result in loss of a duel, match, or even elimination from the tournament depending on the severity and frequency of the violation.
▪ No mercs allowed
▪ After each duel, the winner will be killed by the ref to ensure the body is not str bugged and anything casted during the duel is eliminated for the next duel.
▪ Ethereal items must repair durability or be indestructible. Refs will be checking your gear should you ever change.
▪ Inventory will be full of charms, if you cannot afford full charms the remaining spaces will be filled with ID or TP scrolls
▪ Belt will be filled with TP scrolls. The ref will count 12 ID scrolls each time you die to ensure your belt has been full. If you are wearing a belt that cannot hold 16 ID scrolls such as Hsarus, you must alert the ref before the duel.
▪ Runeword Grief is a banned item.
▪ Runeword Death is back in this tournament but you must have 60 ias + to hit break point speed or you cannot use it.
▪ All your charms and gear will be checked! You must alert a ref if you are to change gear and only do so with his permission. After you make the changes you must again show the ref your full inventory of charms and all your gear. If there is any foul play, say using a +3 pcomb amulet in the place of a small charm for holy shield prebuff, you will automatically lose the duel.
▪ Gear changes are allowed at anytime but only 3 times per Set of FT7. Which means every set of FT7 that you duel, you can only change your gear 3 times but at anytime. This rule is omitted at the start of a new set, and you can select different gear regardless of when you changed your gear the previous set without it counting as one of your 3 allotted switches.
▪ After a gear change, you will be killed to ensure you are not strength bugged and to eliminate any chance of prebuff.
▪ Third party programs will not be tolerated, the refs can see your gear and know if you hit the ias bp. The use of TMC, or MH, or any other third party programs will result in a instant disqualification. This applies for the use of maphack to check another duelers' gear.
▪ Refs should be members of the tournament or volunteers who are affiliated with the rules of the tournament.DUELS MUST BE COMPLETE BY ALOTTED DEADLINE. If your opponent fails to make an effort to participate he will be eliminated which will result in an automatic win for you.

Failure to comply with these rules will result in the loss of your duel, set, or match. If severe enough it will result in disqualification from the tournament.Sign-up Deadline : Thursday March 25 Th
