These Rules have been based off of the Standard D2GM rule set. They have been modified through trial to be as fair as possible for all contestants.
Disclosure:If you do not read the rule set you are STILL 100% accountable by the rules LISTED, so it is wise to take the time to read them for your own personal benefit .
Spam Policy: What is off topic will be judged by either
Azn Masta, Corwin1029, Killahoe, and reported directly to a Mod, Verbal warnings are as followed in previous threads hosted by me. If you spam EXPECT 1 verbal from me. If you previously spammed or did so in response to a thread we have told you not to reply to, EXPECT a warn and a temp suspension from D2JSP.
Ladder Rules:Only one (1) character per person may be used for this ladder, and the type of character must be entered as well as the name of that character. (You will not be able to go around this, because when registering you have to register with both your D2JSP Account and B.Net Acct.
Third Party Programs: No hacks. You will be banned from all ladders when caught if you use any kind of mod
Potions: Only mana potions may be used.
Energy shield sorcs may use mana pots
All Shrines are banned.
Curses and Banned Spells: No characters may Prebuff.
Only Characters Allowed to cast Curses are the Necromancer or Amazon.
Only Curses aloud are Amp, Lower resistance, Slow Missile, Inner Sight.
Only Summon necromancers can summon skeletons/mages. Any other skill requiring a corpse is banned.
Other:NO ABUSING CORNERS IN MOOR - If you hide in corners whole duel to gain advantage you will be DISQUALIFIED - That means no overuse of "boxing"! (However occasional running behind a corner to avoid a trail of arrows or bonespirits is ok)
Each duel is a 15-20 Minutes MAXIMUM (This prevents campers who like to hit/run and sit behind corners)
After the 20 minutes if neither players are dead:
-The one with significantly more hp will be the winner
- If both players have around equal life, the more offensive one will be declared the winner for ring control
- If you feel your opponent is being too defensive, pm either
Azn Masta, Corwin1029, Killahoe and we will come moderate the match for you.
Life Replenish Is Capped At 40
No Healing auras or otherwise (no med, no prayer)
Poison small Charms: only 2x 451's are allowed on any Character
Mercenaries are banned.
No more than 13x 15/70 small charms are allowed.
No more than 10x life/resistance small charms are allowed.
DR [Integer or Percent] + ES absorb % must be 116 or less (Ex: If you use 73% ES, you may only have 43% DR)
In any situation were both persons die from each other it is up to the players to decide whether both player will get 1 kill or the match is nulled (If both players don’t agree, then the kill is nulled)
No Tap is Allowed
No Holy Freeze Vs Chars who use ias to attack (Ex: WW Barbs, WW Sins, Bowzons, etc...)
Holyfreeze may be used to mess up synch vs a Hdin or in V/T vs V/T
Resistances and Absorb: You may not use absorb over 20%.
You may only use one item of absorb. (Melee characters may use 2 ravens for attack rating, except versus orb sorceresses)
You may not use obtain overall resistances of over 85%.
You may only use one item that adds to your maximum resistance. (Necromancers and Amazons may use hotspurs)
You may only use one item to stack your resistances.
Using a Paladin resistance aura counts as stack.
-Stack being of course gear you would put on to counter -resistances. (Anything over 74% is considered stack, Ex. Wizspike, Kira's, Silence, etc)
You may use one item of absorb in conjunction with one item used to stack your resistances.
You may not have maximum resistance at, or over 85% in conjunction with the one allowed item of absorb.
Assassins may only stack/absorb elements 85% or 1 peace absorb such as a wisp or dwarf star.
The game must be in Hell mode.
Specific Assassin vs Assassin Rules:Ww vs Ww: Standard GM Rules Apply
Trap vs Trap: Standard Rules Apply
Ww vs Trap: 1 Piece of Absorb allowed (Tgod or Wisp)
Hybrid vs Light Trapper: 1 Piece of Absorb allowed (Tgod or Wisp)
Ww vs Fire Trap: No Hotspurs, No dwarf (Only item of 5% stack. Ex: Waterwalks or a vex rune is allowed)
Fire Trap vs Light Trap: (Fire Trappers may use Tgod or wisp, light trapper is limited to only 5% max fire res)
Ww vs Hybrid: (Tgod or wisp allowed)
Kicker vs Hybrid: (Treat kicker as a wwsin)
Kicker vs Ww: (treat it as wwsin vs wwsin)
Bow vs All: (treat as wwsin)
Specific Sorceress vs Sorceress Rules:Potions:Vita Sorcs: May use Mana pots
Es Vs Es Duels: May not use any pots.
Es Vs Vita Duels: Both sorcs may use mana pots.
Inventory:No more than 10x 15/70’s are allowed.
No more than 13x 20/17's small charms are allowed.
No more than 10x life/resist small charms is allowed.
Banned Gear:Any item that adds a aura is banned. (exceptions: Infinity and Phoenix)
-This Applies to Sorc Vs Sorc Only (For other classes, auras may be used if they do not affect opponent Speed. Fant is allowed, Holy freeze from Doom Runeword is not)
Stack Item Description:Any 1 item that gives over 75 resistance to any 1 type of element.
Resistances and Absorb:You may not use absorb over 20%.
You may only use one item of absorb.
You may not obtain overall max resistance of over 85%.
You may only use one item to stack your resistances.
You may use one item of absorb or max resistance in conjunction with one item used to stack your resistances.
You may use each type of absorb or max resistance at the same time. (example: tgod + infernostrides + ravenfrost)
No more than 50 resist of any type can be achieved from charms. (excluding annihilus and torch)
- Ex. 1: 10x 20life / 5all res = 50 res
- Ex. 2: 4x 20life / 11cold res + 1x 20life / 5all res = 49 res
- Ex. 3: 5x 20life / 10cold res = 50 res
Resistances and Absorb Exceptions:Nightwing is not considered an absorb item.
TGod is considered a max resistance item, not an absorb item.
Vs Cold Sorcs: If you use the allowed 1 stack item you may not use cold absorb or max resistances.
Es vs ES Duels: You may not use any absorb.
Es vs ES Duels: You may not obtain overall max resistance of over 80%.
ES% + Max resist increase + Absorb = Mitigation
Mitigation Limit = 100%
(Ex 1: a 80%es sorc uses ravens. This is 100%mitigation because ravens is 20%absorb)
(Ex 2: a 95%es sorc has a Lo rune in his vmagi This is 100% mitigation because lo is 5%max resist)
Ladder Sign ups and Structure: - We will take signups in the order which they are posted. You will be given a spot on the ladder according to the date and time you sign up.

Creating a new character on the same ladder:
- If you decide to remake your character or add a different character to a ladder which you already belong to, you will have to start from the beginning. The whole purpose of the ladder is to build your way up to the top, and we won't allow that to happen by using multiple characters.
Challenges: - When challenging on the ladder, post all information for both participants and send a personal message to the player you challenged ASAP. You may not challenge someone who is already engaged in a previous challenge.

- When challenging, you may only challenge someone up to 2 places ahead of you on the ladder. This does not mean you have to, but is advised if you wish to climb faster. The only time this rule changes is if the player two spots ahead of you has stated they will be away or on vacation. In this case you may challenge a player up to 3 places above your own. If the challenger wins, the challenger will take the place of the player he challenged. If the challenger loses, both players remain in their previous positions.
- After a player has been challenged, they must accept the first challenge that comes to them. You may not challenge someone who is already engaged in a previous challenge. All other challenges will be pushed aside until the first match is over. After all ladder matches there is a grace period that comes into effect. The victor of a match does not have to accept another challenge until 72 hours has passed. However, if they chose, they may ignore this grace period and accept any new challenges.
**The winner MUST post a screenshot of 1 kill (Any kill on their opponent) with the time (use the /time command) and the score.**
Inactivity / The Dodge Rule:After a challenge has been posted, it will stay open for 3 days. If the person defending does not accept the challenge, or the match does not take place within 3 days of the initial post, the challenger will automatically win the match due to the "dodge rule."
I Will Not Automatically Update the dodge rule for you, you must quote the orignal challenge made and let me know. This Prevents people have already talked to their opponent about the match and are simply waiting for it to take place from losing their spot.
*The challenger must PM the person defending for the "dodge rule" to be in effect*
You may not challenge someone who is already engaged in a previous challenge. This Match will be nulled.
