This weeks format is: Special Formatting (See below)

Round 1:
2v2 - You will select your teammate and participate in a ft3 game. The character you use will be locked in for the remainder of the tournament.
This is a round robin, each team will face every other team once. For every ft3 game won, you will (personally) earn 1 point.

Round 2:
1v1 - Using the same character, you will participate in a single elimination ft1. For each win, you (personally) earn .75 points.

Round 3:
4v4 - From round 1 and 2, point totals will be added and the players currently in 1st, 3nd, 6th, and 8th will form a team. Likewise with 2rd, 4th, 5th, and 7th. Any ties will just be decided by coin flip. Players outside of 8th will be eliminated.
Duel #1, MVP: Teams will elect an MVP. That MVP will not be communicated. The MVP will be required to buy a full belt of town portals, so that they drop a bunch of town portals when they die. That will indicate the MVP has been killed. This is ft2. Each win will earn you (personally) 1 point.
Duel #2, Hunted: Teams will elect a person to hunt on the enemy team (this is like MVP but you chose the opposing teams MVP). This is ft2. Each win will earn you (personally) 1 point.


The final point totals will be added and will result in our 1st through 4th place finishers. Ties will result in those placements being added together and divided. For example, if 1st and 2nd are tied, they would split 18% (9% each).

Bonuses this week:
Any player who plays with the following classes will automatically start with 3.25 points: Vengeance Paladin, Bow sorc, Poison Nova Necro
Any team who plays with the following classes will receive a bonus: Martial Arts Assassin, Pure (tele) hammerdin, cs zon, pure throw barb
Any team that is compromised of two of the above classes will receive an extra bonus.

Will it be like last time where 1v1 rules are the same as tvt rules?

There are specific 1v1 rules that differ slightly from the general ruleset - these will be enforced
(For example, holy freeze is banned in 1v1 but not in TvT)

Dec 22nd is increased thorns damage (ATOD, thorns, etc)
