Once upon a time, two friends played OG Diablo 2 together online. (Well, more than two, but the story is about these two). They played and played, but as time went on, life divided them and took them in other directions. They still gamed on occasion, but not like they used to while they were younger. Fate rekindled their love of the game with the release of LoD, and they gamed some more.

But as time would have it, the gaming again dwindled, life took its tolls and divided the group again. Contact was lost between these internet friends, lives moved on and they were all left quietly enjoying their own lives.

A young aspiring metalgasm started a new career which would have him traveling the world in service to his country. In this career path, he met many people from many walks of life. It just so happened that one of those people made a joke about an injury the Gasm received in training, earning himself the nickname "Bonesnap". Metalgasm was delighted to have such a nickname, as it was his favorite og Diablo weapon. As fate would have it, Chimorick (named as such after his jsp username) also played Diablo, and his favorite weapon to give a character was Humongous. He was also significantly larger and stronger than the Gasm. It also happened, that ol Chimorick was none other, than one of the Gasms old school d2 friends from earlier years. They reunited in the early 2010s and began gaming again! (And yeah, doing normal things too lol. No animosity over the incident, the two were great pals)

Unfortunately, in life, nothing good ever lasts. After a few years of bonding, life, deployment and other ups and downs, Chimorick was diagnosed with ALS, and passed away in early 2018.

Every year during the holidays, Metalgasm gets nostalgic of his old friend, who's favorite things in life were Christmas with his young family and gaming with his comrades.

Thus, I am trying to find him his ethereal axe, so that it may rest with him. I will personalize it, to be "Brains Humongous" and it will retire it to my NL char, where I have already found the bonesnap lol. He is The Humongous to my Bonesnap. There you have the story.

Sad Story, May he RIP and you find your item.
It was just yesterday seen a neighboor in a supermarket. She got 3 kids is in her mid 40´s and also diagnosed with ALS.
They give her maximum 1 year from now on. To be honest, it will go faster imo. She couldn´t speak a word yesterday, lost her voice. She also half the women she is used to be.

Only God knows why, I wish them all the best

they gave him a year when he was diagnosed, he didn't see 6 months. It hit hard and fast, crazy disease.
