I used to play LOTRO when it was a new game and back when you had to pay for it. Used to play with my buddy on Elendilmir.
Just wondering though, since the game when f2p and all, is it worth it? what has changed etc? For the better or worst?

free to play pay to win. i had fun...but it sucked my wallet dry in the end i am selling my acc for fg if ur interested

its very fun if you like the lotro world, makes the quest grind a breeze, as i was so immersed into what was happening. The end game pre gear grind is a bitch though (grinding for your traits and pre-raid gear) if you have the money to spend on the expacs and vip go for it, if not its gonna be a BIG grind for questing areas and the like. If you dont mind this then itll be fine as well of course

its f2p with pay to win.. as above poster said if you tryed to come back and play to end game content all free to play you will be grinding for as long long time.. you will need vip still if you plan to do end game raiding or pvp from a freep..
