I am thinking of starting to play LOTRO, however i was wondering if i am not willing to spend a dime on this game will i be able to get to end game without a ton of grinding? i know that u need turbine points to buy expansion packs and that u can get turbine points in game, but will i have enuf TP to buy an expansion pack by the time im rdy to go on to the next expansion? or will i have to put in 20+ hrs of grinding?

if u want to get to lvl 65 while doin free 2 play u have to grind a lot!

till 50 you dont need to play that much
you can free play up to lvl 30-35 then you are out of quests in the areas and you need to buy new areas
do some huntin for the coins and you get your 600 to lvl 30 to buy an area from 30-50

50up could be a lot of hunting, you probaly have to do a second char to farm coins or hunt till your drain

buy the legenary pre pruchase edition for 49,99 $ cheapest way to get to lvl 75 without that much trouble

you get 5-20 turbine points for completing various deeds in game, which involve completing quests, defeating enemies, discovering locations, or increasing your reputation with factions.

there are many deeds, so you'll probably get about 10 turbine points per level unless you intentionally complete deeds, but most people wait until they're a higher level to spend time completing them.

if you choose not to spend any money on the game you'll be forced to spend a lot of time doing every deed just for the turbine points, and you'll have to level up several characters at a time to give yourself enough points to purchase quest packs and expansions.

bro its a fun game, i suggest going VIP for a month. U earn 500 TP free as VIP per month.

Best route to go, make 3 charracters. Get them to level 30.
Complete all the quests u can as f2p under level 30.

When u are ready, go VIP and suck up as many quests as u can.
The quests you undertaken in VIP mode will stay after you cancel.
But you wont have to cancel for month or so.

And the benefits of canceling from VIP
Keep 5 full bags.
No gold cap.

and i want to say u can join guilds (jeweller,tailor,cook, ect)

And at higher levels u can grind out TP in a sinch.
People are soo friendly and very helpful.
You will really enjoy the game, trust me!
