I almost don't want to make this post since we have access to wonderful maxroll these days and can theory craft whatever we want (and half the fun is just experimenting). But I was wondering if anyone has any updated (D2R) guides for bash barb or insight into playing them in.

Maybe a link to their trophy character?

Just want to see if anyone went the min dmg bash barb route yet or if a min/max is still the preferred here.

I know what the best in slot bases are but what are bash barbs rolling with on their switch ? Any strategy other than Shout and click?

Switch is useless at level 9 unless you have enough strength for sigon's shield.

Most level 9 characters use the same gear. Just try to get high damage jewels in weapon/armor/helm/shield.

+3 mastery/2 sockets might be better than +3 shout/3 sockets.

If your opponent wears an ancient armor and you don't, then you can put a throwing spear on switch and hit him with a few spears before switching back to bash. Ancient armor click-and-holders will come out to claim this is BM but don't be fooled. It's punishment for wearing slow armor and/or slow shields.
