The req amount of dex for lld max block varies for each character class, for example paladins can reach max block with holy shield roughly around 6O-67 dex depending on the shield your using.

Just add dex until you reach max block, just make sure to proc shield for paladins first to make sure you get the proper calculation for max block.

Formula is

"Chance to block" = "total chance to block" x (dex-15) / 2x"clvl"

Chance to block is obv capped at 75, total chance to block means your shield block base% plus additional block factors like holy shield + the deflecting mod, guardian angel etc, clvl is ur character lvl

So ideally u want

75= "total chance to block"(dex-15)/60

Then just reverse it and multiply by both sides by 60

Then divide by your total block chance then add 15 both sides and youre left with the dex you need

Best base for paladin in lld is crown shield(55% base block) for spirit and holy shield when 1 pointed is about lvl 11 after +skills which gives +31% block chance

So

75=86(dex-15)/ 60

4500=86(dex-15)

52.3(d2 always rounds down)= dex-15

67.3= dex so u need 68 cuz of d2 rounding
