I have been trying to shop these but doesn't seem like holy shield pops up at all via vendor...

its a rare spawn, but is in d2r. i farmed one and charsid it like an idiot in the first week because i didnt think of how rare it would be without bots.

I feel like vendor would be the best spot to try finding one but wanted to know whether that mod even spawns there before wasting time.

Managed to find a Foh/conviction WS as my off-hand swap but no luck yet with HS spec.




Hah you don't have to tell me. I know for a fact I tossed a lot of eth replenish one handers (dimensional blades etc) when D2R first started.

I used to be into the HLD paladin melee back in .08 and .09 (palapk game name) but never got into LLD until recently.
When everyone was rocking the cruel mythical swords of quickness etc

Do you happen to have a pic of one? I haven't seen a single one in game or on jsp since release. I am under the impression that they no longer exist in game.

no pic, but i clearly remember it, was in a grand scepter base too so nice 3 slot one for prebuff.

I believe that this is how you remember it, but I think you are remembering it wrong. They don't exist in d2r. At least one would have surfaced by now. They were rare in legacy but not so rare that months of playing would yield zero hs scepters. Same thing for ww helms - these things just don't exist in d2r. At the very least, a +1 hs scepter could be found after vendoring for an hour.

i'll dig into my screen shot folder if i get a chance but im surely not remembering wrong. having the years of knowledge of how rare restricted automods are i have been on the lookout, and had i known that a simple +1 holy shield grand scepter was as rare in d2r as it is id have kept it.

i get it tho, ive read pages of threads and discord discussions where people just want to see a single example.

and in new ladder on d2c we'd wait weeks to get a single WW white helm posted, and that was with bots. i think they may have done something to restrict them but i truly believe they exist because i have seen an HS scepter.

That's because they werent programmed to pick them lol

Id hope botters would be smart enough to at least script in 3 hs 5 os war scepters with automods for CTAs, but ofc those take a long time to spawn.

Not gonna say 100% it is impossible to shop one, but I tried for long enough if I see another holy shock scepter I might put my fist through my monitor.
