How does level req and upgrading work?

Lets say i wanna upgrade this bow:

Short Siege Bow
lvl req: 25
93%ed
15 to max dmg
12psn dmg over 3 sec.
2os

What would the new lvl req be?

Appreciate any help

I think rares do +5 lvl flat. However I don't think that's worth upgrading; no innate ias and slow wsm base.

Normal > Exceptional +5
Exceptional > Elite +7 (these stack so normal > elite +12 I believe)

Just to note, its max(lvl req of upgraded base, highest lvl req of affixes, highest lvl req of any socketed jewels or runes) + 5/7/12

So in your case:
Short siege bow (lvl25) becomes a diamond bow (lvl54)

Affixes: 15max (lvl18), poison dmg (lvl1), 2sox (lvl7), 93ed (lvl24 I presume given you mentioned no ar) - max: lvl24

Sockets: None (lvl 0)

New level req (if you found it as a short siege bow) = max (54, 24, 0) + 7 = 61
New level req (if you found it as a short battle bow) = max(54, 24, 0) + 5 + 7 = 66

The big thing to remember here as far as LLD is concerned is if you upgrade a normal bow to use on a level 30 you CANNOT use a shael in it as shael lvl req = 29 so the new bow will be at least lvl 34 req with a shael in it.
