I'm starting a lvl 18 hammerdin for shits n giggles.

For this I need a 1 combat + 10 faster cast rate circlet. So I'd thought lets start a low character to gamble some.


Found out a few things:
- at lvl 20 the circlets can appear in gambling screen
- at lvl 20 circlets cost only 27K gold :o
- circlets sell for about 5 - 25K gold (so get this char rushed to act 5 to sell for full amount for max value)


Not sure how much more expensive it will get if you ramp up to lvl 30 for lvl 30 LLD. But though I'd share.

optimal level to gamble for lvl 18 circlets ?
- lvl 42 optimal level to gamble for lvl 30 circlets.

Just to let you know I found this circ 3-4 weeks into D2R gambling with lvl 45. I sold it for 150fg or so but thought I'd mention it.

why 25? does it give a greater set of attributes to work with or something?

yes.

also worth nothing that if you imbue a circ the ilvl defaults to like ilvl 24-28, too low to get lvl 30 mods, and a bit high for lvl 18, but easy to do and plenty good chance to get lvl 18 circs.

on most imbues the ilvl is based on the chars level, not true for circs, coronets, tiaras, diadems.

so u can run chars to lvl 8 in trist runs, get ur charsis hammer, then imbue circs.

I did 10-20 mil at 25 before lvling up my lld all the way.

got a 1 cold 10 fcr helm and that's bout it lol. not even magic just rare with shitty mods
