Anyone make a kind of tier list of lld chars with mid range gear? Just curious about getting into LLD and wondering about viable builds.

Best builds: ww barb, fb/fw sorc, libby/hdin, trap sin
Good builds: bowa, pnb nec, blizz, charger

for budget characters:

decent/good

• ES firewall sorc with shitty gear is insanely strong because you max warmth as a synergy. its dmg also seems to be double what it was in legacy due to increase of tick rate o.o
  
• pure chargers also remain strong even without an inventory because insight/honor/peace exist. 15 max jewels are also dirt cheap.
  
• vita fireball sorc (insight switch) is also excellent even with basic items and no mana scs (though i think you need sojs). ES fireballer require gear and charms (remember, mana pots are bm), so forget it with mid-range gear ><
  
• psn zon is also very cheap to build and is one of the most defensive character in the game, however it has terrible matchups vs things that outrange her (bowzon, trapper, nec, sorc).

okay/bad

• pure hammerdin (dual spirit) was among the cheapest thing you can build on legacy and was very strong, but got much weaker in d2r (to not say dead) because invisible charge/hammers are no longer a thing.
  
• trapsin/necro arent newbie friendly at all since you require several good rare pieces (circ with sk/frw/fcr, +5skills necro head/hand scythe). though im pretty sure a spirit+shield trapper would work very well even with less dmg.
  
• barb/bowzon require dmg & life/frw scs, which will most likely take you weeks/months to cumulate, so thats not budget friendly either.
  
• v/t i would say is in between, as its still decent enough to win duels, but some issues arise fast if you dont have a good weap / sojs to maintain high foh dmg and fanat ias breakpoints.

Fire sorc , psn zon, charger or hdin, any trapper in the absence of wsg

Nado druid just needs a pelt, Ammy, fcr ring and easy self craft belt, rest is super basic and can use plain lifer scs. Biggest thing wth druid is yu have to be good.. if you suck it will suck if you are good it will be pretty good but still not as good as the other ones. Cs zon will do a lot of dps easily right now and most people are noobie af so they’ll die to cs

this game is not worth playing without desync charge/hammering.

i disagree, but you can have your opinion. Foh can wreck if people don't stack fat resistances and you have the right gear.

Fissure is just all around good unless people sorb you.

These are specific cases though, I'm going based off GM rules and people not flat out having counters to your build.
