Wondering how many people have tried it out and if so what would the idea gear be.

yes its been done, but its bad in comparison to Mauler because FRW isnt needed in melee, and life steal does nothing in pvp.

gear:

3 os 3 feral rage pelt, w/ oak or wolf idealy
angelics OR rare ammy
angelics rings OR rare rings
4 os ancient armor w/ -reqs jewels
Pelta shield OR gg rare boneshield
khalims flail
deaths gloves/belt OR sigons depending on AA str req (2x reqs jewels for sigons, 4x for deaths)
rare boots

or if you want to do ranged VLLD, angelics in all slots including armor and wep, hasaurus boots or some with more frw, swap razortine. uses wolfes to block lock opponent then ommmmm noommmmm. but ranged vlld is bad, and in melee just make a mauler. either high life build with lower def/str, or sigons 3 pc even for 150 armor and lower life but BIG armor. needs DTM on some slot to avoid going oom, imo u want 20 or so DTM if u can get it.

Dunno what would be harder, finding another level 12 to duel or winning a duel as a feral druid

I think the second, I've seen level 12 duels before.

Traditional level 12 druids were ok to compete with lvl 9 vlld chars so long as they only used lvl 9 gear (no angellics ect)

This was per lld101 rules

Also people would usually opt for werebear

still the meta, only in the recent tourney did we exclude them, and jabbers with cold dmg javs and sac barb was also excluded. 12 was going to be banned but i had a min dmg sac sorc that lost all my matchups that we let in.

If you can think of it, it’s been tested and done before. Or made it work, sorta….
