I just socketed a crap ED/Max Jewel into a helm.

My Min Damage increased and my Max Damage increased over what the 9max on the jewel.

I'm assuming 20ed/15max jewels are going to become the new hotness for LLD sockets.

It would have increased over the 9max either way.... with a 20/15 in a helm:

Min would be increased as per normal by the 20% ED
Max would increase +15 but no effect from the ED as per glitch

15 max still > 9 max so you'd still see a gain in dmg compared to your original 9max jewel.

Are you saying a 20ed/15max jewel is better than the crap ed/9max I used to test the bug in D2R? Because if so, why even post?

He said max will increase normally, just the 20% ed will not be applied to max.

Idk if that bug was fixed, it’s very possible it was. They fixed a lot of bugs.

Lol unless you replaced a 9max jewel with some some xxEd/9max jewel exactly, then you might not know how the bug works to begin with.

I had no ED items/skills/etc, but I did forget that Strength gives 1 ED per point.

So I'll need to test with a plain 9 maxer to be sure.
