scenario:

2trap/20ias/etc hand scythe as main hand on BOTH sides

1 side has 2trap/no ias/etc hand scythe as off hand

other side has a jeweled whistan's



question:

why is my trap speed so much faster on whistan's side?

It’s not

It does look slower. Everytime im using dual claws, i make sure to re-equip my main hand claw. You can see it change on your character screen everytime you do it. Maybe this is your problem. Good luck!

Yeah im familiar with the trick to change trap laying speed, but that gets reset no matter what when you switch weapons, no?

yep, i saw the jewels. i should've elaborated more in my first post.

you are correct, the issue is that you're str/dex glitching your ias claw with your non ias claw. this will always result in the non ias claw being equipped first (making it the primary claw) regardless of what slot it's in.

weapon swapping will attempt to equip the claws starting from left to right. so, after swapping, the left claw will be equipped first and become the primary unless it cannot be equipped before the right claw. in that case the right claw is equipped first and becomes the primary. you'll need to have both claws at the same reqs and to always have the ias claw on the left hand side. alternatively, you could glitch the non ias claw with the ias claw.
