i considered diablo 09 for a priv realm LLD scene, as u can mf pp rares on the classic realm then convert. but havent even tried pd2

and even godly rares in patch 09 are a bit wonky, because the pvp wasnt exactly balanced back then for lld

Zons were busted in 1.09 (or was that 1.08)

indeed 1.09 pierce bug to let GA hit 2, 3, or even 4 times was active.

plus u can MF 5 frw charms on that realm. PP bows. etc. zon seems very strong.

I remember zons were capped at 18, barbs were capped to 24, and sorcs were capped at 29 around that time. Then suddenly everyone's chars were lvl 30.

Somewhere around 1.08 and 1.09 poison was also bugged/stacked oddly. I remember having a 6 sock bow and an invent full of large/grand poison charms.
I would use that zon to ez pk HLD's. Just pew pew until you got a life leech swirlie and then wait a few seconds until they teleported/ran back to town for a quick slam. I think the poison dam all stacked together, but it was applied over the lowest poison duration or something.

that psn stacking iirc was pre 1.08, and 1.08 was only like a month long patch on b.net. much shorter than most people think given how significant many of the uniques from that patch still are.

pre 1.08 psn durations indeed did not increase, so u got some insane venom like dmg but on crack.

pvm in old patches on bowas is easy, psn socketed bow + a few psn charms carries u well into NM with multi

Yeah and multi also applied status effects to each arrow. Crushing blow and ow spam in rand pvp or cow games.

What is your first d2 memory? Mine was finally cubing a perfect skull with my buddy drew in pre-lod. Skull drop rates were disgustingly low, and life leech was king on a lance barb.
