No worries, and whirlwind barbs are overrated, don't let them tell you any different.

The bonus you have with his helm is that it has +1 to battle cry, which is huge in the game with LLD. The fact it has mastery over warcries to increase the skills of battle order / battle cry is a gem in itself. ( Negates MDR bug )

and the Poison Length Reduce is a nice touch itself
