"I am considering opening up Iron man tournaments. If you are unfamiliar with an iron man tournament I will post the rules of the contest. I am trying to figure out if there would be any interest in such an event on d2jsp. So if you would like to see these runs done please let me know so I can begin posting them.

Rules of the game -

Each entry costs 25 fg and enters you into the tournament.

Each player must create a new level 1 character in hardcore ladder.

Upon joining the game each player will be asked to drop their starting id scroll and town portal scroll. Each player is then given 88 potions to place into their stash and inventory to ensure that players are not cheating by having gear stored.

Each character will then be given gold to max out their stash and and character allowing them to buy any items they feel fit from merchants in act 1

The characters will all join party and begin the process of leveling to level 9 and will be given 30 minutes to do so.

Once a character reaches level 9 they will be required to immediately return to town and wait for the others to finish their leveling.

Once in town with every character at level 9 each will go hostile with every other player besides the moderator of the tournament.

The free for all will begin at that time with the following rules.

Each player finds a place in the blood moore and the count down for the battle begins.

You can not return to town or you are disqualified and forfeit the tournament.

You can not leave the blood moore or you also are disqualified and forfeit the tournament.

You can use as many potions as needed.

The last man standing receives the pay out of 25 fg for each applicant of the tournament for a maximum of 175 fg.

Suggest allowing up to level 12 and allowing imbue quest.
What about changing name from Ironman to Highlander?
