MadIrish already gave me a great idea re the bye's, cap the byes to only allowing a certain number to be used against an individual.

The byes are a great idea, less of them or only x amount allowed to be used on a person this would favor the people who play earlier tho

Also it seemed some people were actively dodging and not using byes maybe there's a way around this?
maybe bonus points for not using a bye?

if we did 18's it would have to be euro rules basically, they have a very good format that isn't huge rules that works well

I like the idea of bonus for not using bye's, could even pair that with a max # of byes

Definitely liked the format and byes. I liked the ending with the byes being distributed to make up for folks who didn't have a chance to duel. It helped make up for differences in schedules. Perhaps next time we don't use them at will and just save them for the end. MadIrish pointed out that there's a points incentive to not using byes if you can help it.

Awesome tourney! Super cool idea that definitely let some of the slightly less powerful classes shine.
