Whats up doods, so I tried out that " b tier tournament " I wasn't going to join initially. But I tried it any ways, had a rough start with the lag and all that but later got that fix'd. Found my self vs B and S tier. Had some luck vs some necros.



Then I tried vs sin , some claim they are particular variants oft sin or what ever else but I only saw them use traps and mb (nothing new or different). In this match up my opponent found a nice little camping spot and would only wsg and run around the puddles ( in circles) and other obstacles in the terrain to avoid me from ever getting close. Traps and mb did me in but it did end up 3 over his 2 . Additional to that the tournament organizer was there and thought of it ...as " paper, rock, scissors " (might as well call it papper rock scissors tournament)



7 mins of waiting around for him to get out of that lil spot. I figured the rest of the matches would be like this in a sense so I decided to drop out.

I was one of the guys who invested in this tourney and I don't want my fg back, I just wish this tournament was actually "b tier "

I believe the idea was to ban the main 3-4 characters that most people see as overly OP. Fire sorc, Libby, WW barb, GFG bow zons. Sure that leaves some characters who are OP over others still, but it will always be like that unless purely mirror match tourney. Trapper and necro are fringe A-tier true, but they do have counters which are allowed in tourney also, they can't just beat everything with a skilled player like the banned classes can. If you put a GFG pilot on an es fw sorc, it's not going to lose, period. That's what his rules were trying to avoid imo.

I agree to an extent, the necro and sin counters (besides chargers) are banned though.

To be fair. This was a b tier tourney... and you signed up on a d tier char...

I hear you, but i'd like to point one thing out:

The tourney was free to join and it had a very generous prize pot.
Some people will always be super competitive, while others just want to have fun. I mean, Ted Joined on a throw barb lol. No fucks given

Yea it’s all for fun like Trev said too it could have been either a mirror match between 20 necs sins druids light sorcs where you conform to that, or are even the lone vt, the mixed pool right now still gives you a decent shot. id suggest finishing out the matches you’d maybe be surprised by the overall point outcome
