In years past I have ran a Battle Royal and a Tournament style to the death low lvl dueler challenge (think NCAA tournament Bracket Style) So im going to start one again. These will be two separate events, Each will have a 50fg buy in with the Winner taking 80% and the 2nd Place contestant taking 20%. Now let me go over the rules and how this is played
Battle Royal. Each member will be told their character name before entering into the battle royal. Every player will lvl their character in the same game until lvl 9. We give you your name so we can insure no one has preloaded their character. Once you hit level 9 you will be told to go and sit inside of town while you wait for the other members. Once everyone is level 9, we will all join one another in hosteling each other and going outside of town, where we to stand in a large circle, and get ready for the countdown to begin. 8 players, 1 fight, last man standing wins. We usually do this inside of tristram that way there is not to much space for some of you pansies to run. After the winner is declared, I the host will be sending them the forum gold.
Tournament (lvl 24) - This is a bracket style tournament, usually 8 or 16 players included. Each member will have until a set date (usually a week out on a weekend) to get their character as ready as they can possibly be. Once time for gathering your gear is up, I the host will then draw names out of a hat and then start everyone out on their first round matchups. There will be NO looting of others corpses in this, every member WILL get their items back if he or she does parish in this tournament. Though any charm losses will be completely up to you, use them at your own discretion. No outside buffs such as BO are allowed. In this tournament we will fight outside of Act 1. Total fight time will consist of 3 min round. If there is yet to be a winner after this round, there will be a sudden death of 1 minute. If there is no winner by that itme, I will chose the winner (this will be based off of much like the UFC) aggression, and im sorry if you were runnin like a girl the whole time, you are gonna lose. These rounds will go on until we have finally reached the winner. The prize purse will be set at 80% to the winner and 20% to the runner up. MSG me directly about more details.
