Mistakes ESCNL Reset Tournament


Mistakes, the #1 LLD guild in history, is hosting a ladder reset tournament. Everyone is welcome. Lets enjoy some GM duels.



*General Rules*
-No dupes.
-No third party programs
-General (no nk, gs, jumping)
-No consumables. Pots of any kind (life/juv/mana/thawing/antidote)
-No +Max Res% (75 res all)
-No Holy Freeze or Slow of any kind
-General l8zing rules, extensive use of walls or houses to run. Running to replen.
-No Prebuff
-Poison Length reduction is allowed if it's not swap gear. Going to stash to throw on i.e. death's set to duel a plaguer is bm. Having plr on an item you use normally regardless of poison damage, is fine.
-No Holy bolt (tvt)

*Paladin Rules*
-No Cleansing
-No Holy freeze (already listed in General Rules)

*Zon Rules*
-No slow missiles. This gets tricky with Peace armor, in most tournaments if Peace procs the duel continues. However, some duelers may choose to null the duel or when it procs, wait and then continue.

*Druid Rules*
-No recasting cyclone armor

*Necro Rules*
-Bone prisons are just like HLD, they can be used on teleporting characters only.
-Max amount of bone walls on a screen is 3
-No Recasting Bone Armor
-No Curses.
-No skeles/revives.

*Tournament Format*
Double Elimination bracket. Random seeding. First to five wins the round. After your first loss, you'll be moved to the Loser's Bracket. Number of participants based on sign-ups. Bracket will be posted on Tuesday.

*Prize*
1st place: 1,000fg
2nd place: 300fg
3rd place: 200fg

*Dodging rules*
- Your duel will be valid for 3 days. Duels that have yet to happen after 3 days are decided by coin flip.

*Signups*
[JSP username] / [Char Name] (*Account Name) / [Build]

*Challenge format*
Example: [JSP username] / [Char Name] (*Account Name) / [Build] challenges [JSP username] / [Char Name] (*Account Name) / [Build]

*Duels*
The tournament brackets will be drawn up on Tuesday (June 9th) and the timer will start Wednesday morning.

Also- the coin flip deciding winner after 3 days could be an issue- if someone thinks they’re likely going to lose, they could just dodge for 3 days and rely on a 50/50 flip to possibly win.

the thing is tho im never likely to lose

as to rules only issue i have is the +max res, my shocker has 84 max res from hard pointing res lightning for dmg. its never been an issue, just want confirmation.

im on tho

Ahh, good point. I'm not sure how to solve that though. I'm open to suggestions.

And I forgot about the Rep Cap. 30 is generally considered GM, right? I accidentally deleted our messages discussing rules haha.

I think extra max res specifically for a shock charger or a build with foh would be fine. I'm open to suggestions if folks have an issue with it though.

I can't edit the post now, but consider it official. No eth/non-rep weapons, and replenish life cap is 30.

this seems abuseable
like if i ended up vs ted or something i would just take the coin flip
better odds huhu
