do sorcs dominate (usually win) LLD because they're the only ones that can teleport?

To further elaborate, yes any build can tele with staff (aside from a shapeshifter druid)
But Fireball sorcs are actually one of the top dogs in LLD. They share the throne with libby's and ww barbs.
