Your inbox was full, but yea

Duskdeep helm lvl 17 (-2 light radius). Adds 8 max dam but also adds like 15 res and 7 Dr... so it would be too strong imo.

Umbral disc shield is vlld req and also gives -2 radius, but nn blocking

Goblin toes give -1 radius but lvl 22 (i dont want to lvl chars past 12 if possible).

The plot thickens....

"In Diablo II, the base Light Radius is 13 and the max is 18. So there is no point in a character's equipment netting more than +5 to Light Radius."

Nadir runeword helmet: (Nef + Tir) lvl 13 req

+50% Enhanced Defense
+10 Defense
+30 Defense vs. Missile
Level 13 Cloak of Shadows (9 Charges)
+2 To Mana After Each Kill
+5 To Strength
-33% Extra Gold From Monsters
-3 To Light Radius

Looooool..... maybe we dont need the sin after all...

But does this mean 13 is the absolute floor? Or can it go lower?
If it can drop below 13, nadir lowers the base radiys by 23% and is easy to make

Oh my....this answers our questions.. although i think we need to get a little lower than -3 lr from gear....

light radius can drop to 1. Cloak of Shadows on its own at base LR will easily satisfy this requirement.

Yeah. 13 base, max reduction -12 = floor of 1

Sadly i can only get base - 5 = 8 light radius prior to cloak of shadows on a lvl 13 but that would be including umbral disc shield and i think blocking would be too op for what we are trying to accomplish

I think the issue is people remembering to cast CoS

But I think lvl 13 and equip all zons with nadir is a solid plan if nothing else it lowers light radius for when CoS wears off

Yeah. But then theres the randomness of having 6 people playing with the ability to turn the lights out. Maybe you are running around pew pewing then suddenly it gets cast. That would be a scary feeling imo

much like the "project shelf" in my garage, one need not be completed before taking on 12 new projects. thus my 50 lld chars mostly in rags mixed with trophies lmao.

haha fair enough. Speaking of which, I'm trying to get 2xx 15/20 for that lvl 24 cudgel haha. I dunno what it'd even be used on though since a robo will just beat it
