Ive got my hands on a rare ashwood bow with 100psn/6sec. I kinda like the roll as im hoping it might deny some replife. but i was wondering if the 100psn/6sec psn damage denies me a lot of physical damage due to the mdr bug. If im correct there should be 2 possibilities which might deny me physical damage (lets say my enemy has 15mdr from soe, the psn damage are my only source of elemental damage, my average screen damage is 600 + 100psn over 6 secs):

1st - initial hit: will the first hit deny me damage? If it was (low enough) fire/cold/light dmg i‘d say 100 percent yes, but how about poison dmg?

2nd -following hit: what happens if i hit my target for the second/third/etc time while its already poisoned?

Anyone able to help me with this?

If poison damage was affected by it, I dont think assassins would use venom at lvl 30...

Tbh im not familiar with assassins at all, but i guess it doesnt matter if their venom damage is high enough - still wondering if i can get a second opinion to confirm / refute mdr-bug occuring for poison damage !
