Cleglaw is the only weapon for an 18 pala imo, can't beat the stats of it. Only exception would be prepatch azurewrath or some insane scepter for some builds, but i still think it wouldn't really beat clegs. And for those items you are looking at xx k fg vs a 1 fg cleg.

Just put a 20 maxer in it and you got the best sword you can get.

azurewrath isnt able to hit 5 frames on zeal which makes clegs a much better weapon.

Azure on a defiance build with an e-rep armor is vastly Superior to a might/twitch zealer. This has been definitively proven in the past. A 3might 5os scepter also destroys clegs on a might build.

Use clegs if you're poor and can't get 5x 20 maxers for a scepter along with other perfect gear. Weapon is about the last thing to experiment and upgrade upon.

5 socket war scepters with +might can't drop with the item level high enough. Level 6 skills are the lowest you can get and still get Max sockets. Defiant builds will beat most normal zealots but with properly built offensive zealots it's still a coin toss. And with a defiant builds I would use a scepter over azurewrath since you have to make up for the lack of Max damage from sockets and charms.

3defiance scepter is comparable performance wise with azurewrath with a 20max. A 60 max crown and 80 Max shield cover most of your damage needs. 40x 15life/8def charms is the best charm setup, swap a 180ar/45max crown and clegs if you're up against another defensive build. Best to keep cold damage somehow (1-2 cold dmg SC) to force cannot be frozen. Sorry, I haven't played in 5 years so some details may escape my memory.

If you have an amazing e-rep 2os visionary helm your probably best served to have a 60 max crown for your damage setup and a 120/30 jewel setup in the visio vs high defense builds.
