does any1 have interest in a melee lvl 30 ladder?

if so i'd need some opinions on rules this is what I've come up with

no cold dmg scs *cold dmg allowed but must come from gear*
no holy freeze
no % slows


all chars must use an AR based attack

no smite no charge no ww

this would be done on NL ofc

Would ctc amp be allowed? If so, class restrictions? (Incase I wanted to make a budget kicksin for it)

kickers should be 100% allowed, even a top notch kicker will struggle against a well geared conc / zealer. same goes for furys and jabber tbh. might as well let them all in!

i think even a zeal necro with maxed bone armor, clay golem, and amp cast would lose 10-0 to a zealer/concer lol.

only way to beat them is poi/ele dmg since they have zero res in most cases.

i still like the no dupes even perms rule, but tbh if someone wants to use dupe barb ammys i dont see it as that much of an issue. bitterholds are a bit more of a shitty dupe for people to compete against tho.

ft 15 duels

no cold dmg jewels
no cold dmg charms

no hybrids

all skills must be ar based

what about dupe jewels?

In 2019 i'd say dupe magic jewels are fine. plain 20-15s and 24s are worse than rares you can buy anytime. dupe rares i'd lean against, but tbh i dont think anyone gonna spend the $$ on duped jewels to win a ladder with like 6 people in it lol

Conc / Jab / Impale / Zeal / dragon talon / tiger strike / dragon claw / fury / maul

atomic might enter on tiger strike lol. dclaw uses 2 claws so 35%ish block, might as well let them in lol.

no smite, no ww, no beserk, no other ele chars, no sorcs w/ enchant zeal, etc.

we should allow fire claw, vengadins tiger strikes

3zeal/3fanat divine scept here for shameless sale plug. Also have some 3x 8-15'd sharktooth squid armor I think. Just gonna throw that out there.

Agree. East melee went to shit when the kids started banning everything that could kill their 200k fg point and click paladins.

if someone wants to roll in on a fire claws druid i wouldn't cry bm really. i might have to load on a bit of fire res, but my zealer would still win lol
