More active and population on east nl, easier to build new chars on ladder only due to the item flow. You can make a few chars by reset or try and by a full char on nl. But buying full will be a big chunk of change up front for anything besides welfare classes like fber, hdin and trapper. (They can be build pretty cheap and effective if used well)

east NL lvl 30s have singles, 3s, and 4s team duels on a nearly nightly basis. its not insanely populated but very healthy imo.

u can roll ladder, there's just not as much tvt nor competition in many cases. but more 18s and 9s on ladder im sure

alright, im interested in both ideas honestly, i like the idea of 9-18 with minimum items but strategically approaching a 30s lld league would be fun too, thanks for replying.

9-18 are about as hard to build as any lvl 30. and in fact many level 30 builds exist that use almost all basic items like uniques, sets, and runewords.

i only have builds that work stored in my head, dan has 4x more builds.

Lvl 9 is almost exclusively melee so if you're on a budget I'd skip that.

18 tends to be slightly cheaper but that's because almost nobody does it. There are only a few builds that work 1v1 and everything else is relegated to 4v4

30 has the most builds, the lowest barrier to entry and the highest skill cap. If you build on ladder you'll be playing with other newer players and can ease into PvP without feeling overwhelmed. Just keep in mind most of the better players are on nl
